Steve Nickerson

Steve is a founding Director in Clearwater Fire Solutions.  He prides himself on his professional approach and is passionate about making a difference to our valued client base by utilising his extensive skillset.  He has significant UK and international sales, project management and general management experience developed through high profile customer liaison in various industries.  Steve started his career in the technology sector and has travelled globally in advancement of his career.  Since 2006, he has been based in Aberdeen and has held several executive positions within companies serving the Oil and Gas industry.  He has successfully secured and delivered multi-million pound contracts with major offshore operators.  Steve holds a BSc in Business and Technology from RGU.

Brian Veldsman

Brian joined Clearwater Fire Solutions in 2019 bringing with him a wealth of operational experience. Brian is now the Operations Director and responsible for the successful completion of all project and work scopes. His career began in the Oil and Gas industry working with the major service and drilling operators, this is where he gained his trade working both in the UK and rotating out to Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, and Thailand to only mention a few. Since arriving at Clearwater Fire he has grown the operations team, injected new services to our portfolio and secured several large service contracts.

Based in Portlethen, Aberdeen we have recently moved into a brand new 375m² purpose-built facility. This includes modern state of the art office and meeting space, substantial storage space, laydown areas (150m²) and includes a complete workshop area with the required equipment to undertake repair and refurbishment of all types of Fire Fighting Equipment. Our headquarters is supplemented through a partner company providing us with the facility to manufacture and test a wide array of items including firewater deluge skids, foam skids and hose reels.
